Procurement Regulations 2024

Following The Procurement Bill receiving Royal Assent in October 2023 the next stage in the process was the supporting secondary legislation bringing the Bill into effect. You can view the Statutory Instrument here

In March 2024 the Procurement Regulations 2024 were laid in Parliament and set out the go live date of 28th October 2024. This is the date the substantive provisions of the Act will come into force.

The regulations also determine the transitional provisions determining how the current regime and the new will cooperate. The Procurement Regulations 2024 have been debated and approved in both Houses and now been signed.
