Webinar - UKUPC Cyber Security Webinar

UKUPC has arranged a Cyber Security Webinar for its members (APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC, SUPC, TEC & TUCO) on 14 September 09.15-10.45.  This session will be of particular interest to persons in lead procurement roles, but also for those with IT and Governance responsibilities.  

Led by Steve Kennett, Executive Director E-infrastructure at Jisc and James Rockliffe, Director of Procurement at London Southbank University (LSBU) we will cover the following:

• a background to cyber security, what to do in the event of an attack, and preventative measures you can take
• an insight into the challenges faced by LSBU who experienced a real-life cyber attack
• the role of cyber security insurance
• Q&A
