NWUPC Members have access to high-quality CIPS training which has been uniquely contextualised to the university sector, and is delivered through blended or distance learning. North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) alongside North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd (NWUPC) are part of the UK Higher Education purchasing consortia (UKUPC) which comprises of 8 consortia who work together to share knowledge and best practice by supporting each other and the wider procurement community.
NEUPC is an approved Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Study Centre, meaning they are able to deliver high quality, competitively priced CIPS qualifications to members of the UK universities purchasing consortia (UKUPC). MCIPS qualified tutors share their extensive HE sector backgrounds and provide dedicated support to students. NEUPC has been a CIPS study centre since 2016 and is unique amongst university consortia in having staff dedicated to the development of procurement skills in member employees. Continued successful pass rates and positive feedback have recently seen NEUPC retain its CIPS Study Centre status for the 2022/23 academic year.

If you are interested in the Level 4 Advance Diploma in Procurement and Supply, you may be interested in the Procurement Apprenticeship Scheme. You can study whilst keeping your current role, and all fees (with the exception of your CIPS annual membership fee) are covered by your institution’s apprenticeship levy.
