NWUPC & NEUPC Annual Conference

On June 17th 2021 NWUPC and NEUPC held our first joint online conference together. Bringing together delegates from across our combined membership into a virtual conference. We aimed to bring the best parts of a face to face conference to our Members in a safe manner to follow current Government regulations during the current situation.

Hosted on the Whova platform, we had a wide range of workshops on offer, as well as a virtual supplier exhibition covering all category group areas, and opportunities to network with fellow HE pocurement professionals in the North of England. We are currently collecting feedback from Members and exhibitors but we feel it was a great success with our key aims to engage our Members in a varied programme of workshops and networking opportunities met.

To start the day we held a Work from Home Workout with 139 Members joining Kingsley to start the day with a bounce and a bit of sweat and a high attendance was followed throughout the day for all our workshop sessions. We also held several social activities bringing Members and suppliers together and had a community board hosting conversations and sparking debates throughout the day.

• 18 workshops • 4 dedicated exhibitor sessions

• Over 700 messages sent through the Community Board

• Over 1000 images shared! • 165 attendees participating in Meet Ups
