You do not have to have attended the first session! This is the second of a two-part series from Electronics Watch of practical online workshops for public buyers to ensure your suppliers comply with your socially responsible public procurement requirements..
- Detect lazy cut-and-paste reporting from suppliers.
- Consider ways to score tenders based on the quality of evidence and where it comes from.
- Consider potential criteria and KPIs to improve transparency and accountability from your suppliers.
- Know how to assess different types of information, primary and secondary data.
- Exercising greater leverage with suppliers to be more transparent about what they know and what they do about human rights risks at different stages of the
procurement cycle.
The 1.5 hour virtual workshop will be participatory. It will begin with an initial
presentation, followed by small group discussions to brainstorm ideas prompted by
some questions and scenarios. The session will conclude with an all-group sharing of practical tips.
