Lift Installation, Maintenance and Consultancy Framework is now available

NWUPC are pleased to announce the launch of the new Lift Installation, Maintenance and Consultancy Framework (EFM2051 NE), providing institutions with a fully compliant, efficient, and flexible solution for all vertical transportation requirements.

The agreement will run for an initial 2-year term from the 20th August 2025, with the option to extend for up to two additional 1-year periods until the 19th August 2029.

The agreement is open to the following consortia:  NWUPC, APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC and SUPC.

Framework Structure – 3 Lots Covering All Requirements:

  • Lot 1 – Lift Service & Maintenance – Regional sub-lots across the UK (North East & Yorkshire, North West & NI, East of England, South West, South East & London, Wales). Includes LOLER-compliant maintenance, call-outs, emergency release, defect rectification, autodialler testing.
  • Lot 2 – Installation & Modernisation – National coverage for new lifts, platforms and stairlifts, plus modernisation projects. Full delivery including builder’s works, electrical and setting out.
  • Lot 3 – Lift Consultancy – National coverage for site surveys, design/specification, tender support, audits, compliance assessments (LOLER, Equality Act), project management and energy efficiency reviews.

Scope of Services Includes:

  • Routine maintenance and emergency call-outs.
  • Lift modernisation and refurbishment.
  • Full lift installations and associated works.
  • Consultancy support: design, specification, tendering, compliance audits.
  • Equality Act/DDA compliance advice.
  • Energy and sustainability assessments.
