Innovative, value adding VLE Systems and Associated Services is now live!

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the the brand new Innovative, value adding VLE Systems and Associated Services Framework (ITS1065 AP) which is now available to NWUPC members.

VLE Systems are the main engine for provision of the education sector’s blended Learning Management requirements.  This latest VLE framework provides broad coverage of the UK marketplace.   Significant benefits can be acquired by Institutions planning to move to suppliers on each Lot listed below.

The agreement will run from 31st July 2025 to 31st July 2027 with extension options until 31st July 2029.

The framework is open to all NWUPC members, as well as those from the following consortia:  APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, SUPC, CPC.

Suppliers and Lot Structure:

Lot 1 – Proprietary VLE

Suppliers include in order of ranking:

  • D2L Europe (Brightspace)
  • Instructure Global (Canvas)
  • Learning Technologies Group (Open LMS)

Lot 2 – Moodle VLE Services

Suppliers include in order of ranking:

  • CoSector University of London
  • AdaptiVLE
  • Titus Learning
  • Enovation Solutions
  • Synergy Learning

Additional services available:

On Lot 1 optional products and services include, without limitation to:

  • New AI products
  • E-Portfolio
  • Learning Analytics

On Lot 2 optional products and services include, without limitation to:

  • Accessibility products
  • E-Portfolio
  • Moodle Plugins

This framework allows you to buy through:

•  Direct Award          

•  Mini-Competition

•  Desktop Exercise

You should choose the option most appropriate to your purchase taking into consideration; your Organisational Procurement Guidance and Financial Regulations, the product/service you wish to purchase and the specific requirements of your organisation.
