COVID-19: NWUPC here for you

NWUPC Office

In these challenging times, we would like to reassure our members and suppliers that NWUPC are available to provide support and assistance.

Like many of our members and suppliers, NWUPC staff are working from home and have access to the files and systems they require to carry out their duties. Our telephone lines have been diverted to mobiles and meetings are being rearranged to online where possible.

Framework Agreements

NWUPC has worked with the other university purchasing consortia across the UK to collate responses from framework suppliers about the impact of COVID-19 on the delivery of goods and services.

The spreadsheet includes information provided by each supplier along with a traffic light, colour coded risk level numbered 1-3. 1 being a low, and 3 being a high risk of supplies being affected.

We will continue to monitor the situation and alert you via Twitter and the news section of our website with any updates.

NWUPC Community

As staff at our member institutions are being asked to work at home, and with uncertainty as to how long for, it’s easy to feel somewhat isolated. NWUPC are here to support you during this time. Our Category Group email forums are a great way to stay in touch with colleagues across our membership, share ideas on how to deal with challenges that present themselves, keep members up to date with developments, or just to say ‘hi’ to colleagues and let them know you are there. Do make use of these and support each other. Our community works well using these forums and now more than ever, these are a vital communication channel.

NWUPC are also on hand to provide support and assistance. Please make sure you keep in touch, and we will hopefully get through this together.
