As part of NWUPC's ongoing work with our Members and Suppliers below are Case Studies from works carried out using NWUPC's Frameworks. These show the benefits of carrying out work through a Framework and how it could help you. 

Case Study: Student Campus Kits to promote health and wellbeing of students

The Chester University team wanted to create a ‘Student Campus Kit’ to welcome students back onto the campus in a positive, confident and safe manner during the Covid19 pandemic. Working closely with the Extravaganza team in Leicester they came up with solutions that could be used everyday, provided value for money and were eco-friendly


Case Study: Broadcasting Equipment and Integration Service

Leeds City College, a member of Luminate Education Group, completed the build of a new centrepiece campus in a high profile area of central Leeds. Working with Digital Garage to create this new campus which would be the new permanent home of the School of Creative Arts, a fully implemented theatre space and TV studio, complete with editing and control suites with the ability to communicate directly between these and the theatre itself was to be installed.

Case Study: HVLE Framework Utilisation

Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), an academic department of the University of Warwick, and the Advanced Steel Research Centre wished to significantly increase their current portfolio of microscopy based characterisation equipment. Working with FEI and JOEL the new characterisation centre houses complementary facilities to the existing central microscopy facility, but with a strong emphasis on analysis in a high throughput (engineering environment) and on metallic (primarily) steel-based materials.
